Garage lift cable testing
Our cables are tested to twice their Safe Working Load (SWL), with the SWL based on a factor of 5:1 on the minimum break load of the cable.

So, for example, if a garage lift cable has a Maximum Break Load of 5000kg, this is rated as an SWL of 1000kg and tested to 2000kg.
